KIPP Philadelphia Family Update: 4.13.2020

Good Afternoon KIPP Philadelphia Families,

 

We hope you and your family are well after our week-long Spring Break. We continue to miss our students and are thinking of you and your families as we all continue to navigate this pandemic.Today, we launched our second week of Distance Learning materials for your children! You should have received a Parent Square this morning with specific links for materials for your child’s grade. Thank you for all of your support in navigating this virtual work for your children! As a reminder, the work is OPTIONAL. Please also read on for our revised KPPS FAMILY HANDBOOK in today’s updates.

 

As always, do not hesitate to reach out to your child’s principal, teachers or anyone on the KIPP Philadelphia Public Schools staff who may be of assistance at this time.

Resources and Information 

  • Guidance for Homemade Masks–  The Governor and Health Secretary are now recommending Pennsylvanians wear cloth masks or bandanas when out in public. Reserve the N95 and surgical masks for healthcare workers. Here is a link to homemade mask guidance if you want to add it in any of the daily notes.
  • If you need to access the Distance learning Links from a different device from where you usually receive your Parent Square notices, you can access Parent Square from any internet browser (Chrome, Firefox, etc.) Go to https://www.parentsquare.com/signin You can then use your username and log-in to access the posts!
