A culture of sharing and collaboration
We Believe
At KIPP Philadelphia, relationships are at the heart of our work. We have intentionally built teams invested in creating joy-filled schools, where we see, value, and care about each other. Our ties to the community fuel our impact and bring us joy. We are a part of a greater mission to create an inclusive, healthy, and empowering community for our students by developing exceptional educators. With a nationwide network spanning 28 regions and 278 schools, teachers have access to professional development, coaching, and high-quality instructional materials, to ensure our students graduate with the skills and confidence to lead fulfilling lives. This includes a commitment to attracting and developing individuals who understand the experiences of the students and communities we serve to ensure our students succeed in college and in life.
Yes, KIPP Philadelphia teachers teach rigorous and engaging lessons, but they also teach life. Our teachers model care, integrity, grit, excellence, and love and our KIPPsters follow suit. We support students every day because we believe in their capabilities to reach their fullest potential. Who are the teachers you remember most favorably? They’re the ones who helped you see beyond what you saw in yourself. At KIPP Philadelphia, we are all that teacher. Be that teacher, too. Join us!
