Strategic Plan
Every student holds limitless potential. Our five-year plan charts a clear path to realizing it, creating joyful, academically excellent schools where young people discover their strengths and build a more just world.
At KIPP Philadelphia, we believe our students come to us with inherent brilliance — and it’s our responsibility to help them bring it fully to life. Our new Five-Year Strategic Plan (2025–2030) is more than a roadmap; it’s a call to action shaped by hundreds of voices across our community.
At its center is the Portrait of a Graduate, our North Star. It defines the knowledge, skills, and mindsets we want every student to develop as they move through our schools and into the world.
We’re proud of how far we’ve come and focused on where we’re headed next. Together, we’re creating schools where students thrive, educators feel supported, and our community moves forward with shared purpose.
This is our shared commitment. Together, we’ll build a future without limits.
Together with families and communities, we cultivate spaces where students feel inspired, challenged, and supported, preparing them with the skills and confidence they need to pursue the paths they choose (college, career, and beyond) so they can lead fulfilling lives and build a more just world.
Our strategic plan builds on this mission by aligning every goal and investment around student success and community partnership.
This plan was created through shared effort and honest conversations over the course of more than a year.
Define a clear, unified identity rooted in shared values, consistent data, and accountability.
Deliver rigorous, culturally sustaining instruction that meets students where they are and moves them forward.
Build affirming environments where every student feels known and connected.
Recruit, develop, and retain talented educators who reflect and strengthen our community.
We’re creating schools where learning is engaging, where educators grow as leaders, and where every student leaves ready to define their own success.
