Emerging Leaders Program
Emerge
Becoming a Teacher Leader
The Emerging Leader Program (ELP) is designed for our newly appointed Teacher Leaders (Grade Level Chairs, Committee Leads, etc.) as they take their first steps into leadership. ELP Participants will have the opportunity to develop leadership skills with the KIPP Philadelphia leaders. You will learn about the KIPP leadership mindset, goal setting, meeting facilitation, change management, giving feedback, and other leadership topics. At the end of the program, Emerging Leaders will have a toolkit of strategies that they can apply in real-time and carry with them as they grow in their leaders. The Emerging Leaders Program serves as a community of practice where participants will have the opportunity to critically engage as learners with others who are developing leaders.
A culture of sharing and collaboration
